Welcome to 7 Farmstead

We began our family farm in 2023 with a clear and heartfelt purpose: to truly know our food and to care faithfully for the land and animals entrusted to us.

Our name reflects both heritage and home. My husband was raised on one of the original ranches in Southern Alberta — the Seven Quarter Circle Ranch — where respect for the land and livestock was simply a way of life. Today, as parents to seven children, the number seven carries deep meaning for us — long regarded as a symbol of completion and perfection — and represents our desire to build something whole, enduring, and rooted in purpose.

Family, land, and stewardship guide everything we do. We raise heritage hens with care, offer chicks to fellow growers, and provide farm-fresh eggs gathered daily from our flock. Each animal is tended with patience and intention, and we produce food we are proud to serve at our own table.

We believe quality takes time — and that how food is raised and animals are cared for truly matters. Our hope is to build a legacy of honest, nourishing food that sustains families while honoring the land for generations to come.
